Join long-time Ashton Heights resident and local historian, Peter Dickson, as he discusses one of Arlington oldest neighborhoods, Ashton Heights. Mr. Dickson will discuss how Ashton heights came to be, its 
architecture, and who were some of its more interesting and celebrated residents.
Mr. Dickson conducted extensive research and interviewed many long-time residents for his new centennial edition of the book “Ashton heights: Its Origin and History.” The book will be on sale at this event and the author will be happy to sign it for you.
This program is free and open to the public. It will take place in the Reinsch Library Auditorium on the Main Campus of Marymount University. As guests of Marymount University, this event will require attendees to wear masks, regardless of vaccination status, and to practice social distancing.
