The Arlington Historical Museum is open every Wednesday from 12:30 – 3:30.  Stop in and see Arlington history from Native Americans to 9/11.  Also see our seasonal exhibit: Fun Gifts for Arlingtonians featuring gifts invented by an Arlingtonian, gifts with Arlington-unique features, and gifts that  no one is going to be able to buy new anymore. Several of the games were donated by Allen Ensign and date from the 1920s-1950s. Back then, these games were advertised as being for boys How times change!

The Arlington Historical Museum is housed in the historic Hume School, named for Frank Hume who gave some of his property for the school. Built  in 1891, it is the oldest school building in Arlington County. Visitors can see an example of what schoolroom looked like and ring the school bell.

The museum is free and open to the public and has plentiful free parking.
