The Ball-Sellers House, in partnership with the Glencarlyn Community Garden and Master Gardeners of Northern Virginia, is celebrating AutumnFest. The house museum is open from 10-3 pm for tours. We’ll also have a table at the Glencarlyn Library (just around the corner).
The house museum was built c. 1750 and has been refurbished to how John and Elizabeth Ball and their five daughters would have lived in it. You’ll see how middle-class colonial families and how they used everything they grew.
Celebrate fall and nature with plants, crafts, food and education!  The day is full of gardening information, from the colonial era to today!
LEARN: From the experts.
TASTE: Savory and sweet foods and beverages featuring herbs.
BUY: Native plants, hand-crafted jewelry; pottery, honey, and T-shirts.
MAKE: Sachets and take the scents of AutumnFest home.
