ARTIFACT EXPO: UNSEEN ARTIFACTS FROM THE VAULT

AHS invites you to an evening of curiosity and discovery!

When we moved the artifact collection out of the museum to begin refurbishing the oldest schoolhouse in the county, we didn’t know how much work it would be and how many treasures we would rediscover. Both have been amazing and we want to share the results and the many curious artifact finds with you! (A fraction of the AHS Collection is shown in storage at right.)

Join us and

  • See some of the artifacts we do not often have on display, from Native Americans to today.
  • Witness just how diverse our county’s history really is!
  • Learn how AHS preserves artifacts today and for the future.
  • Meet the volunteers who have devoted their spare time and love of history to preserving and documenting the AHS collection.
  • Help AHS continue to preserve our diverse heritage.
  • Find out how you can protect your own personal artifacts and how you can find clues to your own history.
  • Enjoy refreshments and the company of fellow history fans!
