Cathy Hix, President of the Arlington Historical Society will discuss two exceptional Arlington women who made a positive difference in Arlington: Elizabeth Campbell and Dorothy Hamm. Both Arlington women worked in their communities to achieve school desegregation. Mrs. Campbell worked through a political process and Mrs. Hamm stood up against the status quo. In honor of Women’s History Month, this presentation will tell their stories.
