Marcey mapI Was a Union Man: James & Lewis Marcey’s Civil War Experience  with local historian Jessica Kaplan.  The author traces the experiences of the Marcey family during the Civil War and how the war made life difficult regardless of allegiance. A unique perspective by an Arlingtonian who lives in a Marcey house. Cohosted by Marymount University’s Department of History and Politics.

This program is free and open to the public. It is part of a monthly series of public programs sponsored by the Arlington Historical Society and Marymount’s Department of History and Politics.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS and FREE PARKING: Attendees should enter the Marymount University campus at the library gate on N. 26th Street. Then turn left and park in the garage.
