The Ball-Sellers House is partnering with our neighbors at the Glencarlyn Community Garden at their Autumn Fest on Sunday, September 16 from 10-3. Learn how early Americans used herbs in their daily lives. Find out from Master Gardeners how to improve your home garden and buy plants to benefit their work. Tour the beautiful community garden at the Glencarlyn Library as well as the rain garden at the Ball-Sellers House. The oldest house in the county will also be open for tours so you can see where our forebears cooked and used what they grew. Enjoy a tasty colonial treat and make a craft project using herbs. Get recipes from early America that you can try out at home. There is something for everyone at all ages at this great community event.
