Arlington Historical Museum
Nothing says holiday celebration more than food so the Arlington Historical Museum is raiding the kitchen! In our new holiday exhibit we will be showing the amazing kitchen implements and tools in our collection. You’ll see all the tools you remember your grandma using and those used by our forebears long before electricity. Some artifacts will be similar to what today’s kitchens have while others you may ponder what they would have been used for.
This free exhibit will be on display from Thanksgiving through January. The museum is grateful to the scores of Arlingtonians who did NOT just throw their old unused and outdated kitchen stuff away but instead wondered if the Arlington Historical Society would like it and donated it to the museum over the years. Thank you to all of those who help us preserve history–especially the history of how regular people lived everyday. The museum is open FREE on Fridays 1230-3:30 and Saturdays and Sundays 1-4.
